Purpose of Event

Children often display an amazing spirit that serves as an inspiration to their peers, adults, and the world. It is in celebration of their courage, vigor, and ability to inspire our hearts and souls that the Spirit Run supports three local organizations that nurture young hearts and minds. This year's proceeds will provide scholarship and program funds for University High School, Brooke's Place (not-for-profit that provides grief counseling to children and families who have lost loved ones), and IPS elementary school #54 (10th and Dearborn), the oldest IPS grade school.
